Love

It’s amazing how people can hold the broken pieces of one another so that they don’t fall apart.

It’s amazing what a heart can hold and still have enough strength and enough room for other people’s love.

And what’s more amazing, is how a person can save another, despite his own need for being saved.

For what is this life without compassion, love, and care?

What meaning does it have? None.

It’s what we do for each others and how much we love that really matters. And it doesn’t matter wether or not we are getting anything in return; that’s not the point in giving. The point is to have a heart in pieces and give everyone you meet a small piece of it. You might think you’re losing a part of yourself, but you’re actually gaining so much more. Because love cannot be lost; love is an everlasting, flowing river that’s pouring upon us all.

So next time you get a chance to help someone, hug someone, or tell someone that you love just how much you care… don’t hesitate.

Drink the water of love and pass it on… Be generous with everything that you do, even with the words you speak. For blessed are those who care when other seem careless and those who can still love even though they are broken.
